London, UK, 7th April 2022 – XConnect, a Somos Company, the provider of world-class numbering intelligence solutions, has expanded its global numbering intelligence by onboarding mobile number portability (MNP) data for Morocco, Senegal and Ivory Coast. The addition of these countries adds to the reach of XConnect’s MNP Query Lookup service and enables its customers to deliver voice and messaging traffic with accuracy, precision and performance. This enables reduced termination costs, improved delivery assurance and enhanced customer experience.
Over 100 countries have implemented MNP. In many countries, over 40% of numbers have been ported. Therefore, knowing whether a number has been ported is a key enabler for advanced traffic routing and delivery solutions for Voice calling, SMS messaging, Rich Communication Services (RCS), Voice over LTE, Application-to-Person (A2P) messaging and the communications services of the future.
