London, UK, 27 February 2025 - XConnect, a Somos Company, the provider of world-class numbering intelligence solutions, has launched its AITCheck™ solution which leverages GSMA data under licence, to protect the A2P ecosystem against artificially inflated traffic (AIT) fraud. AITCheck provides enterprises, mobile operators and CPaaS providers with real-time numbering intelligence to defend revenue streams against significant financial losses from bot attacks on A2P services.
AITCheck is a part of the XConnect RiskALERT™ product suite and provides insight into whether a number is valid, ported and allocated to indicate signs of AIT fraud. The solution combines XConnect’s award-winning Number Information solutions with the GSMA’s IRSF Prevention database to reduce fraudulent OTP requests, mitigate AIT-based losses and enhance routing optimisation and alerting for high-risk destinations.

AITCheck enables enterprises, operators and CPaaS providers to mitigate A2P fraud losses and gain more load balanced messaging traffic by applying strong fraud filtering and blocking. They benefit from XConnect’s 24x7x365 monitoring and support as well as access to the GSMA IRSF Prevention database, updated every 20 seconds, for real time insights into numbers being used for AIT fraud in SMS traffic.
The launch of XConnect’s AITCheck solution follows its recent release of IRSFCheck™ in collaboration with the GSMA to help prevent International Revenue Share Fraud (IRSF). The IRSFCheck database is updated over 250 times every single day, providing an over 90% detection rate on confirmed fraud cases. XConnect makes on average 1.2million updates daily to its Number Information data.
